APHASIA AND APRAXIA TREATMENT

We offer both non-intensive and intensive aphasia therapy options.
APHASIA ASSESSMENT
A combination of formal and informal testing procedures will be performed to assist your speech language pathologist (SLP) in developing an individualized treatment plan tailored to address your specific speech and language impairments and personally identified goals.
APHASIA/APRAXIA TREATMENT
A certified speech language pathologist (SLP) will provide speech/language therapy remotely using videoconferencing. Technological requirements include a computer, a web cam, and an internet connection. Your SLP will develop an innovative treatment plan that is based on your goals and your specific communicative deficits determined through history intake, and formal/informal assessment procedures.
We aim to reconnect clients with their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing through effective communicative rehabilitation. We offer both NON-INTENSIVE and INTENSIVE treatment options.
APHASIA RESOURCES
We offer a variety of FREE resources for Persons with Aphasia, Caregivers, and Speech Language Pathologists. We create innovative resources by collaborating with Persons with Aphasia and Caregivers, developing unique and valuable references from their experiences and perspectives. There are also several resources available for individuals and family members living with Primary Progressive Aphasia. We have also included a link for Brooke Lang's book, "After Aphasia," which is available in audio form with an eBook or paperback purchase.

TREATMENT MATERIALS
Innovative treatment activities that go beyond the traditional approaches and incorporate principles of neuroplasticity. These include a detailed description of how to implement the tasks, a list of the cognitive and language processes and domains the task targets, as well as a list of stimulus materials to go with each task.
